The Parson

The Parson is the free, independent local newspaper for the Parsons Green area, delivered monthly to your door. We aim to provide interesting news and current affairs about our area, build a stronger sense of community, and highlight some of the amazing people, businesses and spaces we have on our collective doorstep.
The Parson is proudly local: keeping us all up to date on changes; supporting businesses in the area; helping you buy, sell, rent, or hire; championing artists, entrepreneurs and local events.
We are wholly supported by our advertisers: meaning you can enjoy balanced, non-partisan news and current affairs for free, and never worry about paying to read about all the goings-on in your area.

We list monthly events in our What's On feature. If you host, run, or organise a local event - particularly if it's free or low-cost - let us know and we'd be delighted to include it! Tell us about your event at: ads@theparson.co.uk

Advertising

We hand-deliver 10,000 copies of our newspaper across SW6 at the start of every month, with another 1,000 placed in local shops, cafes, and salons around our area. If you're interested in advertising, please find our ratecard here.

Announcements

The Parson is delighted to publish announcements (e.g. births, deaths, engagements and other important life-events) for free. However, we would strongly encourage those wishing to publish such notices to donate a small sum to a charity of their choice in lieu of payment.
